Free Machined, Layered,Textile Landscapes

The various landscape inspired textile panels, which I create, have evolved from my love of mountains, cliffs, hilly countryside and landscape in general.  Man's impact on nature is also a factor, and how man-made terracing and agriculture, have moulded and transformed landscape over the centuries.

Techniques include applique, layering, free machine embroidery, hand stitching, and hand dying of a range of fabrics including muslin, cotton scrim and silk.

I am a member of Marches Makers, a group which exhibits a variety of textile creations, including panels, hangings and jewellery and much, much more.

Craft Weekends

Craft weekends can be organised for up to 3 people in a flexible manner to include embroidered landscape textile panels, textile jewellery or nuno felt.  This can  be booked over the phone in much the same way as B&B.
